THE MAN WHO DESIGNED INDIAN FOREIGN POLICY:- S. Jaishankar

It all started on 9 January 1955 born in the house of civil servants his father was a strategic affairs analyst, and a former civil servant and was considered an influential voice in Indian security affairs for a long time.   

Jaishankar completed his schooling from THE AIR FORCE SCHOOL, SUBROTO PARK and went to ST. Stephen's college to complete his bachelor's in chemistry, later he realized his interest in geopolitics and decided not to take admission in IIT DELHI and opted in JNU for BA in political science. the family was quite upset by this decision and later he did his master and PhD in international relations from JNU.

Understanding the situation of India's relations in geopolitics he decided to get into civil services and gave UPSC and in 1977 his journey started his journey in Diplomatic world. 


Initial posting of Dr. Jaishankar were as third / second secretary in Moscow and then he spent some duration in USA as first secretary, he was later sent to SriLanka in 1988 as peace keeping force, In 1998 when India did second nuclear test the whole world was standing against India at that time due to his efforts Japanese PM. Yoshiro Mori came to India and relations started Thriving at the same time there was lot of pressure from west and to cater that he managed "civil nuclear deal" between India and US.

After the death of former External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar was given the job and as he understood the geopolitics for more than 35 years, he did it appreciatingly, he made changes in India's foreign policy and made India stand on its own.

At the time of Russia-Ukraine war he gave smashing answers to west and Europe on oil purchases from Russia and every time he visits countries there is much valuable things to hear from him whether it be in America or in the upcoming meeting in New Zealand there will be much to know regarding that meeting.
